Thanks for everyone's support for Volume Two!  It's been amazing!  Over the next few months, I'll be working hard to finish it up and deliver the vest best graphic novel possible!  This is all possible because of you.  So, again, thanks!

VERY NEAR MINT volume one has continued to be a huge success, thanks for the generous donations from Kickstarter funders like yourself. We toured the country and got the book into hundreds and hundreds of hands over the course of 2011. It's time to turn it up a notch with VOLUME TWO!

HEY, WHAT IS THIS VERY NEAR MINT THING?

VERY NEAR MINT is an ongoing graphic novel series about Colin and Sam, who run the Splash Page, a comic book shop. It also stars Mack, Colin's ex-girlfriend, Jamie and Carson, who work at a record shop, and two bad guys who opened a rival comic shop across the street from the Splash Page, called Across the Street Comics.

SO WHAT'S VOLUME TWO ABOUT THEN?

In VNM 2, everything. Falls. Apart.

The last time we saw Colin and Sam, they were reeling from the betrayal they faced at the end of volume 1. Volume 2 picks up a few months later, and things have gotten way worse.  The Splash Page (their comic book shop) is losing money and customers to Across the Street Comics.  Sam has a plan to save the day, but is it already too late?  Is Colin mad at everybody?  What can Mack do to stop all of this from happening?  And what does Nate have up his sleeve to ruin everything?

COOL. WHEN'S VNM 2 COME OUT?

ESTIMATED RELEASE DATE: MARCH 2012

Does that mean YOU'LL get your rewards in March? No!

HOPEFULLY you'll get your rewards sooner! (Yes!) The plan is to premier the book at the Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, March 30th, but the goal is to ship the Kickstarter rewards by the end of February!

INFORMATION ABOUT REWARD PACKAGES!

• INTERNATIONAL ORDERS! Meaning you DON'T live in the United States, PLEASE add the suggested additional funds for shipping. I'll ship my comic to every and any corner of the globe, but help me out, please! (I'm looking at you, Falkland Islands!)

• Most rewards come with the standard, non-oversized edition of VNM 2. You'll be able to choose between the standard cover of Very Near Mint 2, or the sketchcover edition.  On the sketchcover, I'll LITERALLY sketch something on it for you!  You'll be asked which edition you prefer AFTER the funding ends.

• Every reward tier will have their name (or business or website, subject to approval) printed in each copy of book, in a special Kickstarter "Thank You" section.  You'll be asked for this information AFTER the funding ends.

• Every reward tier comes with a digital download of the book. You'll be provided a link to download the book once your reward ships.

• (almost) Every reward (minus the $1 or $5 tiers, sorry dudes and gals!) will come with bonus rewards, like a couple postcards or some pins or something.  Just a special thanks from me to you!
