Good Tuesday morning, VNM'ers!

Long time no talk!  You're getting this e-mail because you backed the VERY NEAR MINT Vol. 1 project here on Kickstarter.  VNM 2 came out last spring, and now I'm getting ready to release VERY NEAR MINT VOLUME THREE in about a month or so!

There's a chance that some of you may have missed out on VNM 2, so I wanted to make sure you weren't left out in the cold this time around. Perhaps you have already checked out the VNM 3 page on Kickstarter, and maybe you've even backed the project. Either way, I thank you for your support and interest in my little graphic novel series.

There's just under 10 days left in funding for VNM 3!

Clearly, we've surpassed the funding goal at this point, but that doesn't mean you can't still get involved. There's plenty of awesome and unique choices for rewards this time around.

There's a limited edition variant "babies" cover, a mural, original paintings, a chance to appear in VNM 3 as a character and more!

(You could also keep it simple and just get a comic. The choice is all yours.)

There's also plenty of bonus stretch goal incentives that you'll receive if you back VNM 3, and you can check out what those rewards are on the Kickstarter page. Attached below are some of the covers to VNM 3 for you to take a peek at.

One final note:

If you ARE interested in backing VNM 3, but don't have a copy of VNM 2, I have a simple solution for you: Just choose any reward tier and add $10.  That covers the cost of VNM 2! Boom. Easy.

Hey VNM 1 Kickstarter dudes and gals!

Just a heads up to those of you who may not know (or forgot!) about the Kickstarter campaign for Very Near Mint Vol. 2, we have just under two weeks left to go.

The support has been awesome, and many of you who supported Vol. 1 have shown your support for the second volume as well.  I truly appreciate it!

I'd like to give you VNM 1 supporters an early glance at the cover for VNM 2!

VNM Update / Out of my hands and into the world...

Well, there comes a time in every parents life that they have to watch their child grow up and move out.  That time for me is now.

Packing and shipping out VERY NEAR MINT's!

At this point, over 80% of the backers rewards are on their way across the world!  From Florida, to California, to the UK, to Greece, to Australia, and way more in between! Some of you have already gotten your packages, and others should be there between tomorrow and next week.  I've got about 12 to 15 more packages left to be sent... and those should be on their way next later next week.

Here's a photo of me with the receipt from the post office... (I'm 6 feet tall, by the way!)

Amazingly, the post office employee told me that it wasn't the longest receipt she'd ever seen.

The response has been fantastic for Very Near Mint.  Everyone really seems to dig the art and the story, and hopefully you do too.  Please spread the word to your comic friends, to your local comic shop, to whoever will listen.  I have included a business card in most of your packages, so feel free to give that to someone if they want to contact me to purchase the book, or just direct them to verynearmint.com or facebook.com/verynearmint

Also, be on the lookout for Very Near Mint at your local comic shops soon.  We already have copies at the following locations... Read More Comics in Brandon, FL, A Little Shop of Comics in Scotch Plains, NJ, Challengers Comics in Chicago, IL and the Secret Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. 

The creative process has already started for volume two, and I can guarantee that I'll be back on Kickstarter, raising funds for the next book.  Most likely sometime in the summer.  Hopefully you'll be on board for volume 2! 

For those of you in the New York / New Jersey area, I'll be attending MoCCA Fest (Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art) next Saturday and Sunday, April 9th and 10th. I'll be located at table L17, with my buddy Lee, selling our comics, sketchbooks, buttons, t-shirts, prints, and whatever else we can gather up!
