Update #7: funding date came too soon!
Thanks to the holidays and deadlines, I didn't make enough of a push to promote this page.
Hence, I've started the same project again a little more refined.

So if you're still inclined to pledge, it'd be much obliged. As you know, the money you pledged isn't withdrawn until the funding goal is reached, so you're at no risk to re-pledge.

Update #6: I wonder if I can restart this project....
So I should probably run this project again and actively search out ways to get this CD known.
i have enough demos and work in progress that I could probably make this happen within the next 3 months.
Small failures are good!

I will not be portraying the debu character in my video like below, but this is the gist of what I plan on creating.

Update #1: PEANUT BUTTER
The song Peanut Butter has been written.
When I was a child I used to get peanut butter all over the place.
This never settled well with my parents.
I still get peanut butter all over the place. That's why I don't eat it in my own home. hahaha. I stick to almond butter personally.
The Debu doesn't know what almond butter is...He only knows about JIF.
I have begun recording the song, but haven't started on the vocals.

Hi. I write music for multimedia applications and perform with tons of different artists in Los Angeles. I speak Japanese and have studied Koto and Shamisen while studying at Osaka University of Arts as a Japanese government ministry of education research scholar.
I am currently writing and seeking funding for my next album and project that will be written in Japanese with a focus on the American food industry.
I currently perform with and have performed with:
grammy award winning pianist Billy Childs, ex-Miles Davis band pianist Deron Johnson, Bow Wow Wow's lead singer Annabella Lwin, original jazz artist Nailah, the daKah Hip hop orchestra, Adjoa Skinner, Andrea Hamilton, Yogi Lonich from Buckcherry, Lionel Richie's drummer Oscar Seaton, session drummer Gary Novak, Tracy Wannomae and a handful of other artists.
I finished a new album in 2009 and released it on iTunes.
My song DEBU has also started to sell on iTunes Japan.
