FOLKLORE is a comedy feature that showcases the interviews of many mythic beings of folklore.

SYNOPSIS: FOLKLORE is a feature film about an android, a water nymph, a vampire, a couple aliens, a time traveler and many other mythic beings that are interviewed and asked to update a fictional government agency on their lives.

NOTE FROM WRITER-DIRECTOR JUSTIN CALEN CHENN:
Hello! As we all know, making any film is hard. But it is especially hard when you're trying to do it at the low or micro budget level. At that level, it's all about creativity and maximizing the resources you have. Luckily now, there are websites like Kickstarter that allow people to fund their creative dreams when they otherwise couldn't.
For me personally, the road to film has been eventful. I was a train wreck of a man until my mid 20's. I used to have a passion for art as a child, but gave it up when life threw a lot of curveballs that I was never able to deal with in the proper way. As a result of that, the only things I had a passion for during my youth years were self destruction and hazardous activities. I've got the physical scars to prove that, and it's not pretty! But that all changed when film came along in 2007 so, if you can, donate to this film and help a guy continue to realize his dreams

It's all for the film and nothing else. The money we receive will be spent on rentals (locations, equipment, wardrobe), expendables (make-up, gels, gaffers tape, etc.), permits, insurance, gas and food for the actors and crew, and post production expenses! It's an expensive process!
