By helping us create this CD you are not merely a patron of the Arts: rewards for your donation include CD's, shirts, electric bicycles and parties! Naturally, everyone receives our undying love and gratitude for any donation, no matter the size.
We ask you to help us create an album that inspires people to break down ethnic and social divides. We start by bringing together a wide array of musicians from a wealth of cultures and create music that freely expresses their differences and embrace each others passions and weaknesses.
But the CD is just the beginning -- there is action beyond the mere making of music.
We are working to educate schools and communities on the environmental impact of America's traditional lifestyle. We are in the works to perform 10 local Bay Area shows completely by bicycle to promote sustainable living and local culture. We believe that these locally-focused, all-inclusive events support the knowledge and growth of ethnic diversity which in turn alleviates racial judgments that still prevail in our country.
So, phew, it's a lot to tackle in just one CD, but we are moved to make it happen and hope that you are moved to help us. We will carry this album on our bikes to your community and help spread the word that change is happening now and that there is beauty on the horizon. We are going to put the money towards producers, musicians, as well as performers of the new album. As well, we have budgeted enough for 10 local educational shows within the Bay Area which we hope to arrive on bike and discuss the future of transportation, food, and culture in America and beyond. If more funds are raised, we can create more outreach to bring more world music to schools and communities through the west coast, as well as traveling east.
