It's no secret LGBTQ topics are in the headlines. It has always been a part of the plan to create a webseries based on the book, "The Other Side of the Fence." The main theme of the book and webseries is to take a look at lesbianism, bisexuality, and sexual curiosity through the lens of the not so loud and proud. It is fiction, but I believe many women will be able to relate to the characters and their relationships. There may be some men out there who can relate to the "my girl got a girlfriend" concept.
I've made the choice to use local talent, videographer, marketing team, and crew. I've already linked with an awesome production company and a marketing company (I'll reveal that later). I believe that North Carolina is full of talented individuals and if I can aid in giving someone a chance to utilize their skills I'm going to do it! The funk of homophobic opinions hovering over North Carolina will not shade this project. Ain't nobody got time for that!
What are we trying to pay for? Glad you asked! Funds will go towards paying for videography, covering costs of any permits we will need to film at certain locations, props and wardrobe, marketing, and paying our cast (if possible).
Which characters from the book will be in the webseries? No worries, Shay Regalo will be in the webseries along with Stephanie O'Neal. There is no way I could leave out 2 of the most dramatic characters of the book. Danica and Stacey will be in the series also. If you're curious as to the early years of their relationship please make a donation and tell your friends to make a donation so you can find out! The handsome men of The Other Side of the Fence will be in full force! Andre, Justin, Bradley, and a new character Evan will be in the series. Rene and Lauren? Of course! Stephanie is incomplete without her 2 sidekicks! Remember Danielle from "Lesbian Until Graduation"? Well, you don't want to miss out on how she fits into it all. A few other characters may pop up! You never know.
Can I do this without your help? The answer is no! I wasn't even able to write the book without your many words of encouragement and heart to heart talks from some people. We want to bring our audience a quality webseries! Let's work together to reach the goal of $3,000! Any donation is greatly appreciated!
