Thanks, Terence. I'd say it's safe to expect much more Parsely in 2012.

Espionage game would be cool. I fondly remember stoping the saboteur in Scott Adams' Secret Mission on a VIC-20. I would also like to see something Cyber... Tron-like, perhaps?

Based on the popularity of this project, there is a demand for many more Parsely games.

I ran my first Parsely game off my iPad for my wife, while we were waiting for a bus. She beat Action Castle with a final score of 89/100. She asked how many there were, and I told her 7+, and she said she wished ot was more like 70. I concur.

Red zombies kill the player after one command (the player has time to escape or kill the zombie but not dilly-dally.

As for the zombies swarming the intake, that should only really occur if playing Z-Ward-X — that'll be changed in the final version of Z-Ward (v1.2?)

      ***Potential spoilers ahead***

Now, that I've read through the game I have a question about how to handle zombie attacks. Should an attacking zombie automatically kill a player after one command, or do the players have a chance to look through their inventory for something to help?

Also, do the players lose if they do not have the bunny when they enter Francie's room or could they replace the panel, so that they can look around for it.?

Finally, once you attempt the escape, how do you get past the zombies that are now in hospital intake? I don't see another exit, and I don't see how you'd get by them.

      Thanks for the great work.

Inpatients' names (what I have) are in the PDF and the website has all the Board of Trustees names. Will do another update when I get a swack of additional names but until then, that's what I have! The PDFs should go up later this week (on RPGNow.com) so thanks for your patience!

      Please raise pledges.

    19. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
Terence Bowlby on November 27, 2011

If you haven't raised your pledge to the next reward level, or tacked on $10 (like I did on top of my $50 reward), now's the time! Three days left to get the 226+ backers each a copy of a whole new game on top of Z-Ward and your other rewards by getting the total up to $6500!

      KICKSTARTER
You are a group of backers standing in front of a worthy project. Exits are: Z-Ward (and other rewards), Z-Ward AND another new game (and other rewards)
      > go Z-Ward AND another new game (and other rewards)
You can't go Z-Ward AND another new game (and other rewards), you collectively haven't pledged enough money.
      > Raise enough money!
I don't see enough money here.
      > Inventory
      You collectively have: enough money
      > Hmm...

    20. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
Terence Bowlby on November 26, 2011

4 days to go and a little over $400 left to reach $6500 and a bonus game!

    21. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
Soren Hjorth on November 25, 2011

And we broke $6000. I'm so looking forward to being eaten by a zombie.

    22. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
Terence Bowlby on November 23, 2011

Now about 50 need to raise their pledges by $10... or 100 by $5. I think the pledges WILL get to $6500 within 7 days!

    23. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
Terence Bowlby on November 22, 2011

We need about 70 of us to up our pledges by $10 so that everyone gets bonus game awesomeness.

    24. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
Terence Bowlby on November 21, 2011

C'mon people, less than $1000 dollars to go. If you all up your pledge by $10 you'd be getting a full new game at the same "price" as the Z-Ward print & pdf level!

    25. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
Terence Bowlby on November 16, 2011

If all the pledges under $50 raised their reward a level, the project would be up almost a grand! Let's see PIRATE SHIP/CACTUS TOWN/whatever made and sent out to all of us! :)

      Brian,

Yes, you'd get the expansion and (if I hit that goal), the next Parsely game.

    28. Eyeseeyou_1024x768.thumb
Brian Kelsay on November 14, 2011

Question: at the $20 level, do I get all existing Parsley games in PDF, 2 copies of Z-Ward in print, the new game you just started polling for AND the mini game expansion I saw somewhere?

I don't mind printing the games myself, but I didn't want to miss out on getting all the games and mini games by being at the wrong level.

    33. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
Terence Bowlby on November 13, 2011

$2500 over $5000 is a long way to go. The original Z-Ward goal was $1000. But I hope you get there! And if you do... I'd like PIRATE SHIP. Or for OTHER either an "Escape the room" adventure or a "Locked room" mystery.

    34. Fb_profile_picture.thumb

      I'm in on CACTUS TOWN...

I vote Cactus Town. And I'm raising my pledge to get closer to $7500.
This is awesome. Jared, I love Inspectres and Octane, and look forward to unleashing the parsely games on my friends.
I can't wait for my patch and t-shirt!

    36. Feature_jared.thumb
      Jared A. Sorensen on November 13, 2011

If I hit the stretch goal of $7500, I'll include a new game in your list of rewards...so tell your friends! So now a question: what should the next Parsely game be?

NINJA GARDEN (get it?): Ninjas! Or if you prefer, ninjae.
      CACTUS TOWN: Old West-style action
      PIRATE SHIP: Rum & booty
SUPER CITY: Caped superheroes in a modern setting
ACTION CASTLE III: Because, why not?
      or...OTHER?

      Hi, Terence.

Death World is a "comical" Parsely game I ran at a convention in Ohio a few years back. It's just one room ("The Dead World") and it comes with Jungle Adventure.
