Hello my name is Jerry Rodriguez and I am trying to bring my project "Wrong Turn" to life, it's a story that has life lessons in it. It 's material is mainly from events in my life and a dreamed up fictional montage to complete the story.

Picture a young man named Elton, bright boy, standing almost six foot, born to educators and raised to be a God fearing, family oriented child. All goes well in his life he is taught to do the right, study right, dress right, act right, be right and even hang with the right. Well the  later initiates trouble, see being with the right usually acquaints itself with money, you may say not always but in this case it did. Elton was one of those  average children that had to really earn an "A" full of common sense but his family is not of money to put it bluntly. His education will not be funded, there is no car, no trust, no monthly allowances, no family residuals.

This is where he soon realizes that while he could compete with his friends in sports, studies and popularity there are no free tickets that open pocket books for him. He must work, support and somewhere in the busy schedule he must try to get a education. He soon realizes that this is how  poor dresses, when food and rent are the main priorities.

High school is over and friends aren't saying, "don't worry I got you covered or everything is paid for." These were good friends and their lives are planned, they would have all the financial help and  influence to kick start their careers. Even though Elton has scholarships and loans he would be tens of thousands short, where do you find that kind of money and then continue finding  it for at least four more years.  The ultimate was when they said, "don't worry something will come around for you Elton," well it wasn't coming up and his new job delivering beer in the hot sun didn't seem to get him anywhere nearer to his million dollar mark by the age of thirty.  

This is wrong turn number one, the world of smuggling and sales of marijuana, and it seems that after he makes  that initial one mistake it just seems to become a daily occurrence. Elton feels that even though what he's doing is illegal it's the minimal damaging drug besides everyone is doing it. So starts a journey of excuses, confusion and hurt.

In simple, I have tried to self develop this project for almost a year and half,  I need to have it proofed and turned into a real working project that can be made into digital form for the web, and some hard copies. I have to pay for the quiet time to create without financial stress, so that it will resemble some form of  professionalism and not just chicken scratch.
