About this project
Happy Underground Productions was able to produce the first season of Dead Wait (http://www.dead-wait.com) with virtually no money. The entire budget was close to what a family of four might spend on dinner at a decent restaurant. Thanks to the kind donations of their talents, Dead Wait's cast and crew of industry professionals helped Eric and Justin realize their vision in a way which has already entertained thousands and continues to reach new viewers every day. In the second season, the creators hope to bring audiences even more of the action, suspense, comedy and zombies they crave as Adam leaves his fortified apartment and heads out into a world where the Dead Wait for him.
Season 2 will involve more principal actors, more extras, more locations, more complicated visual effects, and hopefully the ability to compensate the cast and crew who have committed their time and efforts to tell Adam's tale. This project is a labor of love for all involved, and that shows with the level of quality visible in the first season's production values and performances.
Season 2 will be made in very much the same spirit as the first, with everything being done as cheaply as possible while still maintaining the high level of quality you've come to expect from Dead Wait. With your support, Eric and Justin can accomplish three main goals for the second season:
1) Hire a producer to help secure more backing and more exposure.
2) Compensate cast and crew for their time and work.
3) Up production value to an even higher level with more and better filming equipment, makeup effects, and post-production effects.
