This spring Joseph Peterson & The Transparent Seas set out to release their first full length album on an array of mediums. Along with the album release they will be marching off on an extensive and adventurous supporting tour including stops in Milwaukee, Chicago and Madison.

In order to accomplish these musical visions, Joseph Peterson & The Transparent Seas worked with the young bearded and aspiring recording engineer Dylan Hink at Austin's famed Arlyn studios (Willie Nelson..Bob Dylan..Neil Young..Bonnie Raitt..Sublime). Spending countless hours in the studio til the wee hours of the morning. With their sights set on achieving a refined and focused album debut. 

The debut album is lined with songs from a very transitional period for Peterson in his life. The confusing and short period of time between youth and young adulthood, and the many unexplainable firsts that come along with it. With a strong focus musically and lyrically, Joseph Peterson & The Transparent Seas intend to paint honest musical portraits with lyrics that have something to say without pointing fingers.
