Pittsburgh based singer/songwriter, Joy Ike, is currently work on her 2nd full-length Album, "Rumors", and she needs your help to make it happen!
Hi Friends!
It's me, Joy. Since November, only one thing has been on my mind - this new CD. Its 2010 and I've been doing this music thing for 5 years now. Living as a full-time artist for the past 18 months has taught me a few things.
1. Where there is vision, there is provision
2. With hard work, dedication, and passion the sky is the limit
3. There are people who really want to help me do what I do better.
So I thought long and hard, real long and hard (for 2 months) about whether I would humble myself and ask my fans for help in creating this new CD or whether I would stomach it and silently fumble around looking for funding. I chose the latter.
So friends and fans. I want to ask if you would consider contributing to the production of this new full-length project, "Rumors". I've estimated that this project will cost between $6-$8000 but I'm only raising $3500 and plan to take responsibility for the other half. Here are all the expenses I will need to cover when all is said and done.

THANK YOU for all the support you have given me in the past several years. I will do my best to be a good steward of your money, give you an account of how I've spent it, and also give you EXCELLENT REWARDS in return (see rewards to your right).
I should also mention that if the full $3,500 is not raised, I will not receive any of the pledged money. In other words, if I raise $3,495, that money will not come to me. If I meet and go over the $3,500, I will be eternally grateful to YOU my fans.
