I spent some time working around on roll20.net last night. So far, I like what I see.
I will update my Backer Seal to 75% approval. I really wish the Tabletop Forge could have made it but I guess these things happen.
Creator T. Rob Brown on May 7
OK... so... what is this Roll20 and how do I access it? I tried to go to roll20.com but I get the error message "no such app" in Firefox.
Creator T. Rob Brown on May 7
Not sure what happened with all this. I was busy with a move and heavy work schedule for months.
I remember reading something about this getting closed down, right? Even when it was up, I could never get it to do anything other than just sit there and let me draw free-hand. I think I was supposed to receive some character art pack or something for my backer level.. who knows, that was last year. I've never seen anything like that. I did go a month there without Internet, so who knows?

Had a sesson with Dungeon World creator Sage LaTorra.
The intregration of Roll20 into a hangout went very well. I had a great time.
Creator john on February 3
Are you still going to have the chance to organise the "play with the creator sessions"?
Creator Michael Lewis on February 3
Thanks for the updates! The Roll20 info was a lot clearer and I've made my account there. Looking forward to the G+ integration, because, honestly, I don't need a hundred different accounts on different services. I'm overwhelmed trying to keep tack of everything now as it is (and have had to sign up to Lastpass.com to keep all my passwords random and ready house... ugh).
Creator Tabletop Forge on January 29
@Counter_Break Engine publishing should have sent those out already. Can you PM your email and I can check on it for you?
Creator Counter_Break on January 29
Hey, sorry if this has been answered somewhere before, but do we have access to the pdfs from the [Bag of Tricks] tier yet? Also, will those be integrated somehow into Roll20, as was the plan for TTF? Thanks!
Creator David Berkompas on January 29
Thanks for clearing that up, my apologies if I came off sounding rough.
Creator Tabletop Forge on January 29
@David Berkompas
If it wasn't made clear you get a lifetime Roll20 account with no ads and no fees.
Creator Michael Hasko on January 29
Not feeling hoodwinked at all. Sad to lose TTF, glad to see a combined effort with Roll20.
Creator David Berkompas on January 29
I backed this project because I didn't have to pay a monthly fee.
Still waiting on my play session. Anyone else feel like they've been hoodwinked?
Feels like bait and switch to me.
Creator Tabletop Forge on January 17
@Daniel Landon
Responded via PM.
Creator Daniel Landon on January 17
Just to be totally clear, the "exclusive terrain, object, and token packs" were not included in the last update we received, right? There was a lot of great stuff in there anyway, and I am eager to try it out.
Creator Phillip Vogel on January 3
cool thanks looking forward to it.
Creator Tabletop Forge on January 2
@Phillip Vogel
We put out an update a few weeks ago and 95% of the art has been integrated into the alpha version of the app and should be pushed to the Developer Preview version soon. Ran into a snag with some Google Drive folder recursions that I am working through that is my last hurdle but it's all there.
Creator Phillip Vogel on January 2
anyone still working on this?
Creator Tabletop Forge on December 7
Sent out an update last week on the status of the art and the developer preview is out there and being used by a lot of people.
Since this is a Google+ project as well I also tend to send out queries and interact with the community over on Google+ on the page at: https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/110771920494591644897/110771920494591644897/posts and the new fancy Google+ Community https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/110771920494591644897/communities/109051985129463479441 where I can solicit feedback on Features/Bugs if you don't want to use the link to the Bug Tracker sent out to backers earlier.
Creator David Vibbert on December 7
Has anyone seen anything about this KS lately? I received a message about my pledge in November and have heard nothing back. Is this a dead project?
Creator Jason Raynor on November 26
Any new progress?
Creator Tabletop Forge on November 11, 2012
Working out some issues with a Google Drive folder and sharing via the API and then tokens/art will be available.
Creator Gregory on October 29, 2012
I was wondering the same thing about the token packs. Did they get sent out and I missed it or they haven't been pushed out yet. I'm not upset just wondering, because I can't wait to try them all out!
Creator Bob Smith on October 16, 2012
Still haven't heard anything about reward games. Hope I didn't miss mine!
Creator Tabletop Forge on October 2, 2012
Still coding away with the new ExtJS framework. So far everything is looking good but it is causing it to rewrite large swaths of code. For some areas we are going through and doing bug fixes that have been on our list and others we have decided to put some of those off to help us package it together quicker.
I should have an update out on progress along with some screenshots next week.
Creator David Berkompas on October 2, 2012
No update in three weeks? Did I miss something?
Creator Tommy Rayburn on September 12, 2012
Hoping all is well, I know it was supposed to be out last weekend, then there was a small delay. Any further news?
Creator Scott Acker on August 29, 2012
When do we get to play our games from the rewards?
Creator Benjamin L. Schlitt on August 29, 2012
How will your end product compare with the d20 people:

Luke, I will be playing in the Marvel game with Cam, and will give a blow by blow afterwards on G+. Stay tuned!
Creator Timothy Arthur on August 22, 2012
Cool Thanks, just don't want to miss anything :)
Creator Tabletop Forge on August 21, 2012
@Timothy Arthur
We are still hard at work on the developer access version and hope to have an announcement this Friday. In the meantime you can try the open beta client at tabletopforge.com by hitting Launch Tabletop Forge at the top.
Creator Timothy Arthur on August 20, 2012
Where can I try it out at, haven't heard anything.
Creator Akira Currier on August 1, 2012

I feel like I should have donated another $30 to make it a nice round number.
Creator Luke McCampbell on July 26, 2012
Would it be possible after the rewards with GM led games if we could have a writeup of how they setup the table? It would be interesting to see how Marvel is done in the tool vs say Shiantar.
Creator Tabletop Forge on July 16, 2012
@Nick Carter
No official forum yet but as to be expected we have a large presence on Google+. I try and share out a Circle of Hangout gamers every couple of weeks so people can get hooked up with others who are gaming online.

Creator Nick Carter on July 16, 2012
Sorry for posting here, but is there an official forum? Couldn't find one in my brief searches. Was wondering if there's a way to save macros for loading later, etc at this point. Also is there a way to list windows or something for rearranging z-index? I've had a window or two disappear on me and I assume it's a stacking issue. I think specifically I've had a dialog disappear behind another window, and also the Tables window completely vanished.
Creator Andrew Wedge on July 15, 2012
Is there likely to be any kind of API for 3rd party extensions? For example, I have wiki-type sites for some of my games, with extensions for character sheet management and similar. It would be nice to have these things accessible from within a gaming session, rather than away in a separate window. Or even to provide shortcut links for common dice rolls, pulling relevant stats from the wiki (assuming that the tabletop knows the character name)
Creator ryan on July 13, 2012
this is just for one shots, but could you possibly run a game of parinoa over forge?
Creator Tabletop Forge on July 11, 2012
@Jerome Chuang
We do have plans for a forum but first are working on getting our bug tracker up and running.
@Carsten Reckford
The first survey we send out to backers will be to capture your gmail account name and/or G+ profile id.
Creator Carsten Reckord on July 11, 2012
How will we be able to access the backer exclusive content? My Kickstarter email is different from my Google+ account, will that be a problem?
Creator Jerome Chuang on July 11, 2012
Just checking in to see if there was a plan to set up a forum in the future on the actual Tabletop Forge website?
Creator Peter Ramos on July 9, 2012
Tommy, Fantasy grounds has virtual dice and hides the DM rolls in two ways. One is an on/off button that toggles DM die roll visibility and the other is a die tower where all dice dragged into the tower are hidden. You actually get the die roll animation but the die animation is shadowy and numbers cannot be send (nor are they reported). I think they will be able to do this.
Creator Sven Hannemann on July 9, 2012
10min to go :) Well done TTF and all Backer!
Curious if "we" will achieve the 45k
Creator Tommy Rayburn on July 9, 2012
@David, from one of the videos it does show GM hidden rolls. Difference in command is /roll vs /gmroll, now how will that work with 3D dice .... that is a question for TTF
Creator S.D. on July 9, 2012
It's amazing to me that the virtual tabletop community has so generously "cast their vote" on supporting this project. How awesome is it that this team is being given what they need to make Forge as amazing as possible? And further, that this work will improve the community for everyone, as a free app that all tabletop gaming groups will have access to? This is the spirit of open source development at it's finest. Bravo, folks, and I wish you the best of luck. I'm proud to support this development.
Creator David Deist on July 9, 2012
One other question, TF, and like Tommy, sorry for so many: Will it be possible for a GM to "hide" their rolls from players? There are times when as a GM, I roll for circumstantial things to happen (random chance encounters, and the like). Anything like that in the works? Thanks very much in advance, and congrats again on your extremely successful Kickstarter! :)
Creator Tabletop Forge on July 8, 2012
@Tommy Rayburn
Yes, we are allowing that option and thinking of good ways to implement it. We even want to support co-GMs inside the same hangout so you could have one doing the story elements while another helps with combat or the like.
Creator Tommy Rayburn on July 8, 2012
Last question, I do apologize for so many. Are you planning on having support for multiple GM's? There are times I want to let someone takeover or just check how my Virtual Tabletop looks without having to give them my direct account info.
Hope it was a great camping trip, and congrats!
Creator Tabletop Forge on July 8, 2012
To answer a few questions:
We actually do have playlist support planned but right now we are awaiting the Google Hangout API to support more than just synchronized WAV files (we need MP3).
We do have extensive plans for a character sheet creator to create interactive character sheets on-the-fly. In the mean time our upcoming tighter integration to Google Docs should allow access to static docs and PDFs.
Measurement tool is in the works.
