The Creative Workers Union wants to bring Portland based Designer, Aaron Draplin to Austin for a one night lecture on April 7th, 2011.
The Creative Workers Union is planning a speaking event featuring designer Aaron Draplin (and Dale!) of Draplin Design Co. on April 7th, 2011.
Aaron will be showing his work and telling tales of Freedom, Graphic Arts, Independence, Fonts, Things That Are Orange, Weiner Dogs and Whatever Else Pops Into his thinker on the big night. He will also bring some of that excellent merch he so nicely designs for you to get your hands on.
As for Aaron, he has worked on a number of projects related to Print, Identity, Web Development, Illustration and Gocco Muscle categories. Draplin Design Co. makes stuff for Coal Headwear, Union Binding Co., Snowboard Magazine, Richmond Fontaine, Nike, Wired, Timberline, Chunklet, Incase, Giro, Cobra Dogs, Burton Snowboards, Hughes Entertainment, Chuck Prophet, Field Notes and even the Obama Administration, if you can believe that. They pride themselves on a high level of craftsmanship and quality that keeps them up late into the wet Portland night.
