Across the United States, a popular trend in themed Birthday Parties for children has emerged, involving a visit from a Storybook Princess. This Party Princess entertains the little party-goers with singing, dancing, and games.

The storyline for CROWNED is based off real events that occurred while co-writer Brianne Sanborn worked as a Party Princess. The series we have written in a pitch would basically be like PARTY DOWN, except with a Party Princess Company. We also admire the mockumentary style of Christopher Guest, and are huge fans of LOST too, and want to incorporate all of that in our series. Help make it possible!

Our goal is to produce a comedy/fantasy web series featuring members of The Groundlings (the notorious breeding ground for SNL cast members) and Upright Citizen's Brigade alumni and students.

What we need money for:

The script is finished and Season One will contain 8 episodes (each 5-10 minutes in length) and funds raised will be applied to the cost of a cinematography, sound, lighting, rentals, wardrobe, makeup, locations, animation, editing, post-production and special effects and getting the best cast possible.  We mean we want to get some recognizable cameos for our backers, and that takes money.

As with every project on Kickstarter, if we don't make our goal we don't get to shoot the project. How dreadful! So please tell us we can make this entertaining series for you! You won't be disappointed.

CAST

VERONICA MANNION hails from the Bay Area and has been in LA pursuing 24-hour donut shops as well as her film and television career for 2 years now.  She considers herself a performer in every sense of the word;  she sings, acts on stage and screen, improvs, does prat falls, moves you to laughter or tears. Veronica studies at The Groundlings and at Richard Seyd Acting Studio, as well as holds a BA in Theater Arts from San Francisco University.  She has written and performed 2 one woman shows, and has several films, shorts and web-series in the works!

BRIANNE SANBORN has acted in theatre, film, TV and commercials in NYC, Los Angeles and across the country. Some of her many theatre credits include playing Mayzie in the National Tour of Seussical (directed by Tony-nominated director Marcia Milgrom-Dodge), Amy March in Little Women, and Dainty June in Gypsy . She has also performed for many years at Disneyland, done several commercials for Disney and been featured on The Sarah Silverman Program as well as several indie films. 

JAY LAY is a member of The Groundlings and teaches at the The Groundling School. A veteran of improv comedy, Jay has appeared in the TV Show How I Met Your Mother and the film Evan Almighty to name a few.

JOSH BEDNARSKY has a BA in Communications and minor in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. He has studied acting in NYC  with teachers of "the method" and has trained in Los Angeles at The Groundlings School. He has played leading and supporting characters in many theatres across the country and has appeared in the indie films Viette, the Killing of Jacob Marr, and Zero Day (by Ben Coccio) and the television show Eagleheart to name a few. www.joshbednarsky.com

KURT MASON PETERSON began his career performing in the theaters of New England. By the time he was nineteen he was working professionally as an actor in Capital Classics, the Monomoy Theatre and the Hartford Stage. Highlights include Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night and Horatio in Hamlet. Kurt holds a BFA in Actor Training from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, and is a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade. He is member of the Beverly Hills Playhouse's Advanced Study Class with Allen Barton and Art Cohan.  Kurt currently resides in Los Angeles and is excited to be lending his comic chops to this project. 

LISA SCHWARTZ is an actress from Los Angeles with experience in Film, TV, Theatre, and Web-produced shows. She was featured on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and has appeared in the internet productions Aimless and Shane Dawson TV, as well as numerous Independent films. Perhaps most know for her YouTube channel (youtube.com/lisbug), Lisa is a seasoned entertainer and performer who brings her onstage and on-camera experience to every project she throws herself into.

CREW

RAYMOND CINEMATO is an avid filmmaker who has been recognized by many prestigious establishments including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.  His work as a filmmaker has been utilized by many top industry professionals, recently including Stu Levy and Ashton Kutcher.  Raymond is currently hard at work wrapping the trailer for "Pray for Japan," and prepping two feature films for release.
