So...yesterday I was humbled and honored to have the silky smooth gospel soul vocal stylings of John Finley in the studio. He did some hauntingly beautiful background vocals on two of my tracks. Goosebumps!!!!
And.....I don't know if u guys have heard ;) ;)
BUT Jimmy Cliffs album Rebirth won the Grammy for best reggae album on Sunday!! which means...
the studio where I've recorded my record, my bass, drums, keys and guitar players...My producers My mixer And your girl!! are officially a Grammy winners!!! How cool is that??!!! Just incredible :)
I'm looking at maybe 2 more studio days and this thing will finally be finished. Just a matter of getting all three horn players, cello and violin to agree on scheduling.
