Who am I?
I am a soulful singer, storyteller and songwriter: blending blues, jazz, and folk, and evoking journeying, triumph, loss, love, and more love.  For the past few years I have been performing in New York, and last year I went on a worldwide tour with singer and songwriter José James, with whom I have been collaborating as a co-writer and guest performer. After this experience, I was inspired to create my own solo project—a six-song EP recorded here in New York City, with an amazingly talented crew of musicians. Once completed, the album will be released digitally and in an elegantly designed, limited edition, eco-package.

“Why do I need money?” As most of us know, times are tough. I have saved up a lot of hard-earned money, but I’m still short in reaching my total budget to make this album the way I want to. I am seeking benevolent benefactors to invest in my EP so that I can pay for the studio, musicians, engineer, producer, and manufacturing. With your money and mine, my music will be finally be available to eager listeners! Plus, you will get rewards for your support!

“How does it work?” At Kickstarter, the idea is that the project initiator (me) sets a financial goal and a time limit. I have Forty Days to reach my goal of raising $6,000! If I don’t reach that goal, all donations are refunded to the donors. Why? Because Kickstarter doesn’t want donors giving money to projects that don’t have enough funding to succeed. A project that's underfunded is a project that doesn’t happen. So if you want to donate, ask a friend to do the same, and I’ll be that much more likely to reach my goal—and get there faster! For example:
If I can get....
240 people to donate $25, I will reach my goal!
110 people to donate $55, I will reach my goal!

Every dollar counts! (Note: If I do reach my goal and there is still time on the clock, I can continue to accept donations. )  

“What’s in it for me?”
