About this project
We're young and we have no money, but we want to keep putting on our super-low-budget concert series - help us out!
We started the School's Out Summer Concert Series in 2008 to give young bands a chance to play at a really cool venue and get their music out there. The series features talented young musicians performing in front of their friends, family, and all sorts of other people, at free outdoor shows on the historic Plymouth, MA waterfront. With just our group of teen to early-twenties friends and siblings, we've been quite successful so far. But with 2 seasons under out belt, things still cost money and we certainly can't stop now.
Here are a few important things you should know about the series:
• All the shows are outdoors, free, and all ages
• All performers play for exposure and fun, not money
• All staff volunteers their time
• The shows take place at two close-by outdoor venues on Water St., Plymouth: The Hedge House (acoustic/coffeehouse shows) and The Main Stage (full bands)

Any money you donate will go toward a few very essential things: 1) State-required liability insurance, 2) Fees to the town for using the Main Stage venue, 3) Equipment maintenance, 4) Promotion

Any amount of money is appreciated endlessly. It doesn't take a whole lot of money to run our concert series, but it does take some, and the more the better. Please pledge some money to help young musicians get their music heard, and of course, come to the shows!
