Christmas is pretty creepy. You know it. I know it. Creepy. So why don't holiday carols reflect that? Now they can.

I have been thinking about recording a Christmas album for a while now. Something creepy, a little snarky, and not so much of the holiday cheer. But something keeps gnawing at me (no, not Cthulhu). While I think this album would be cool, I have no idea if anyone else thinks the same.

If this project succeeds, my next studio album (with an October release) will be Another Creepy Christmas: a collection of covers, creepy parodies, and originals. If this project is not funded, I'll stop thinking about it and get back to ghosts, monsters, and strange machines.

I have a modest goal of $500, not because that will cover the cost (not at all) but because your support represents your passionate desire for creepy Christmas songs. And if you want creepy Christmas songs, other folks probably do as well.

If the project is funded at $500, there will be 6 songs. For each additional $200, I will add an additional song, up to 10 songs max.

$700 = 7 songs

$900 = 8 songs

$1,100 = 9 songs

$1,300 = 10 songs

In fact, I really would like to do 10 songs. When would I get a chance to do an album like this again? So how about this: If it's funded for 10 songs, I'll record 11. Sound good?
