I made a record called Visitor 10 years ago. I want to make it again, with you, like this.
Hi, my name's Jonah. I've been playing music for a living for around 20 years (yikes). I've been in tons of bands (Far, onelinedrawing, New End Original, Gratitude). Through all of it, my favorite part has been keeping in close contact with people that like the music, and generally keeping the business part fun and personal. Since my first go-round with Kickstarter was so fun for me and the people that chipped in, I'm gonna do another one. I've kept all of my favorite parts from the last one (along with stuff I know lots of you liked) and added some new ideas and stuff too (Ts, hoodies, buttons, stickers, more). I'm also shortening the timeline some since I'm just excited to get making and get you your stuff!
Over the years, lots of you have said how much you enjoyed the onelinedrawing record Visitor. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of that album being released, I'm re-making it as if I were playing it for you at a show. Speaking of which, between playing those tunes live and making Unique Recordings of them, they've really transformed in great ways. So, it'll be the same tunes in the same order, just recorded really well and in a way that feels like we were together in a little club or a living room or on the sidewalk or any number of weird places we've made shows happen.
As fate would have it, I've also recently chosen to 'reunite' onelinedrawing and make new merch to match. I'd love to have your face be part of the album artwork and your ideas to help pick the merch designs, too. Once you chip in, I'll be in touch with easy ways to make your ideas known.
*VINYL BONUS ROUND!
As with the last project, if we can hit 9k, I can afford to press and ship vinyl to anyone chipping in $36 or more. Also, at least one lucky winner will get the vinyl test pressing sent for free with the rest of their stuff! I love vinyl, so I hope that happens!
REMIX ROUNDUP!
After the record is done, I'll send out the basic tracks to anyone that wants to make remixes and stuff. If anything gets made (or if I make alternate versions of tunes for any reason), I'll make all that available for free to everyone that chipped in.
SHIP HAPPENS:
International folks, thanks for chipping in the extra shipping $ on the larger rewards that have clothes and vinyl and all. Believe me, it doesn't even cover the postage (so expensive and annoying), just helps even it out with everyone else.
