John is a filmmaker from the Capital District of New York State. He’s currently working on his third feature film, and recently completed his Masters Degree in Studio Art. His work is often a hybrid of film and photography with emphasis on the perceived document and the truth of identity. Stanley Kubrick, Hunter S. Thompson, Gus Van Sant, Thom Yorke, and David Foster Wallace headline his list of inspirations. Mr. Yost lives a modest and happy life with his wife Raeanne, who cooks a damn good quesadilla.
