Congratulations! This is an awesome project. I tried to fill out a rewards form but accidentally saved it before entering my whole address. The site doesn't seem to let me change the info. Is there another way I can provide it? Thanks!

John, congratulations on doubling your goal. I hope this project helps you reach a successful conclusion to your lawsuit. I really look forwarding to adding a Fire Imp to my collection. I picked one out on Flickr yesterday. If it's not available, then anything you choose will be wonderful.

@KimDancy Ok, thank you! I will send you a really cool one.
@SteveLauman I think that people really like the artwork, but also the fact that it is tied to a bigger story that affects all artists.
@Aerinity It's been very exciting! I really love what Kickstarter has helped me to accomplish.

Connected as John T Unger (481 friends)

I began my creative career in writing, spending fifteen years as a poet, writer and performer. In 1995 I switched to sculpture, and have made a full-time living as an artist since 2000. I'm best known for my sculptural Firebowls which have been featured in the NY Times, Craft Magazine, Hearth & Home, Casual Living, The Daily Book of Art, and HGTV.

Because sculpture is an inherently industrial medium, I've become more and more fascinated by the potential for production work and high quality multiples. I've produced several art product lines designed for manufacture, including the Emoodicon Ring and a flat-pack firebowl that assembles without tools or hardware. Now I'm hoping to find ways to simplify and standardize the process of going from idea to finished product.

My podcast, Art Heroes Radio, focuses on business and marketing for artists. I've spoken at Blogworld Expo, SXSW and The World Domination Summit on related topics. As an early pioneer of selling art through blogs and social media, I've consulted with companies like Six Apart, Paypal, 1000 Markets and others to help them improve and build upon tools for ecommerce. I served on the Strategic Advisory Board at 1000 Markets and am launching my own ecommerce/social media platform later this year.
