My name is Johnny Arco. I’m a rock musician in Brooklyn, NY and founder of The Greenroom Brooklyn. For the past year, I've been living off busking in the subways of New York City, throwing parties out of my loft space, The Greenroom Brooklyn, and playing shows with my band.  I’m recording my first EP of original music this month and I need help raising money to fund the recording.

I’ve heard there are two common reasons that bands fail, the live show isn’t as good as the recording or the recording doesn’t capture the excitement of the live show. I’ve written music that I believe in, I’ve gathered world class musicians, created a unique sound, and worked non-stop to demonstrate that we can give memorable live performances that people are excited about long after the show’s over. What we need now is the recording. 

With the funds we raise we will be given the ability to capture the excitement we’ve created in our live performances. The funds will pay the musicians, cover mixing/mastering and other studio cost and help with legal fees, copyrighting and publishing. The funds will allow for quality artwork, printing and duplication of the EP and help with promotional and marketing efforts.

A quality EP will allow us to create work for the band and our business team. It gives us a product to sell and legitimizes our work as recording artists and entrepreneurs in the music industry.

With your help we’ll capture the excitement we’ve created in our live shows and be given the opportunity to prove that the sound we’re creating is one of the next big sounds in music.
