I am an independent singer/songwriter from Texas currently living in Nashville, TN. When I was young I took piano lessons against my will. Terrified of recitals, I decided to call it quits in the 4th grade so I could learn to enjoy the instrument at my own pace. Since then, I played by ear and developed a creative drive that allowed me to write songs at an early age only to be performed to close friends and family. Growing up allowed my skills to develop and change giving me the opportunity to learn from other artists that were constantly on the radio or in my CD player. Inspired by such artist as The Beatles, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Rufus Wainwright, Alison Krauss, Ben Folds and many others, I have been able to shape my unique style from those inspirations. I have released songs since 2004 but finally finished and released my first debut record, If I Could' in November 2009! You can catch me playing shows here and there! Hope to see you down the road!
