Our project formally succeeded on Friday night at 11:59pm, so we're a little behind in saying it, but THANK YOU!

The outpouring of support has been tremendous. We hope some of you got to swing by on Saturday night to take a look at the pub. We're shooting to be open this coming weekend, and it's a realistic goal thanks to your support.

We'll be in touch again soon with specific information about all the rewards and details about the pub launch, and we'll be contacting groups of backers directly about their specific rewards. Don't hesitate to drop a line, and thanks again!

Many thanks for your generous support of the pub. The response has been tremendous. We just wanted to send along a couple pictures to show you some of the progress, give you an update on rewards, and ask you to spread the word in our final week on Kickstarter.

Spread the word! 

We're two thirds of the way through the Kickstarter campaign and about two thirds of the way funded. Remember, Kickstarter campaigns are all or nothing; if the project doesn't get fully funded, the funding won't go through, so spread the word to friends, family and South Pasadenans galore. Let's finish this week at our goal and launch the pub on a high note!

Pub and Rewards Updates

A couple updates on rewards and the status of the pub:

• The Kickstarter pre-launch party is probably going to be a post-launch party. To do it right, it makes more sense to work all the kinks out and have all our incredible backers over when we've got everything operating as smooth as a Guiness pour. If you'd like, however, to see the pub before it opens, just send us a message and we'll arrange a time you can come by and poke your head in, no matter how much paint or sawdust is flying.
• There's so much we want to do with the pub, we probably won't be able to cram it all in before we open. What does that mean? As beautiful as the pub is going to be on our grand opening, it's going to be even better in the weeks that follow.
• Here's a good example: on Saturday, we will only have our first draft tower installed. Don't worry! Our next tower is coming in a week or two later, so we'll have 14 beers on tap well before June and the heat of summer.
