MASTER OF INVENTIONS A comedy about the world's worst inventor.

I've spent the past 5 years as an independent filmmaker, primarily making comedic shorts. I began production last year on Master of Inventions, my first feature film. I felt the only way to become the filmmaker I want to be was to jump in head first and learn as I go.

The past several months have been incredibly fun, educational, and exciting. We've managed to produce some great scenes thus far:
Jeff and Marcus in the Office

Jeff and his Landlord

Diner Scene

I decided to make a comedy feature film because I was stuck in a short film rut. The net is overloaded with comedic shorts and felt my work was getting lost in the noise.

By making a full length film for such a low cost, I want to prove to myself and show other aspiring filmmakers you don't need an abundance of money, free time or access to expense equipment to get your film made and out into the world. I believe the success of Master of Inventions will be from its story and humor, which will cost very little to produce. I'm very luck to have some of the most talented comedians in Chicago in the cast.

Most films are produced for well over $2,000, but I want to keep the budget to its bare essentials. I know this modest amount of money could help us focus on the production more and get it moving much faster.

Your donations would go towards items such as:
- Tapes
- Homemade lighting rig
- Transportation and parking costs
- Props: The film is about bad inventions, so this money will fund
materials for ‘inventions’ like: The Jerky Hydrator, Hypercolor Suit,
The Pen Sharpener, Waterproof Blow Dryer…
- Location rentals
-Food

With this amount of money I'll be able to get the production moving faster and deliver this hilarious film to you guys much faster.

Check out the pledge amounts and awesome incentives we've put together for you. If any of them look doable please MAKE A PLEDGE. You won't be charged (or receive your awesome gift) unless we raise the full 2,000.

thank you for your time and support and I hope to have Master of Inventions completed for you real soon!
