Update #11: Riding a Rickshaw
Hi guys!
So, I have settled into my new home in India. I am writing this from the Drishtee office. My first project is rural women entrepreneur development. I am so excited to dive in and get started on it on Monday!
As for this weekend, a few of the other interns and I are going to Manali to explore!

Hi Jodi,
Looks like you are out exploring the area, I sort of expected that. Is that the Drishtee near Sibsagar, Assam, or Delhi? I'm assuming it's the one near Delhi, otherwise Manali would be a bit far for a weekend trip. Where is the Woman's project located and what will you be doing?
I hope it's not too hot? That part of the world can get and stay quite warm.Be careful - but have fun.

Update #10: the time has come!

Update #9: Booked My Flight!
I just wanted to send you all a quick update on the progress of my trip... I booked my flight! Yes guys, it's official.
On October 11th I will be leaving for Delhi!
I am also especially excited about my long layover in London. I will definitely be exploring the city so let me know if you have any recommendations for a few hour jaunt in the UK.

With your help I will be taking off from LAX in October for Uttar Pradesh!
I am definitely going to keep all of you updated with my time in India and the progress and details of the programs I’ll be working on. Thanks so much for helping me get there. I’ve said it before, but the amount of community support I’ve received has blown my mind.
