About this project
In 2011 I am using a different film camera each week totaling 52 cameras in 52 weeks. I'm currently in week 31 of my project, which until this time has been completely self funded. Your donations to the 52 camera project will help provide film and chemicals for processing, as well as the ability to create a book of work, available for purchase, after the project completion.
With new technology follows the process of discarding or finding new use for obsolete technology. Old unwanted items clutter landfills and wastes our Earth's resources. Once you purchase and use your first vintage camera, it becomes an obsession. I'm the proud owner of a large vintage camera collection. As John Waters says "Life is nothing if you're not obsessed".

To pledge to a project, just click the green “Back This Project” button on any project page. You will be asked to input your pledge amount and select a reward. From there, you will go through the Amazon checkout process. Note that you must finish the Amazon checkout process for your pledge to be recorded.

If the project you’re backing is successfully funded, your card will be charged when the project reaches its funding deadline. If the project does not reach its funding goal, your card is never charged. That's why we call them pledges.

oops, I forgot to add that didn't I! The original print you will receive will be 8in x 10in. There will be some restrictions - meaning that a square image will have dimensions of 8x8 and of course Polaroids will be a reproduction - not the actual polaroid.
