The Novel is way better than the above video. We'll pretend I was going for orange and out-of-focus. That said, this is Not Your Typical Vampire Novel. So forget what you've learned of vampires and get ready for the real story (or show)! 

The Story

Just when it seemed reality television had hit its peak of fighting housewives and drunken shore-goers, here come The Vamps – the richest, most powerful family dynasty in the high-end fashion industry who just so happen to be celebrated as modern day vampires… reality television sucks like never before.

Haus of Vamp is being fine-tuned and is awaiting the success of this campaign to go to print. This is my introduction as a novelist into the literary world. This novel is mature enough to be loved by adults and PG-13 enough to be worshipped by young-adults. I love vampires and the lore that has been written and created around them. I first came up with this idea to be written as a television script (which is still a possibility). After I wrote the pilot episode I realized that I was creating more than just an entertaining script, I had the workings of a novel that recreates the vampire entirely. While keeping a few characteristics the same-blood drinking & light sensitive pale skin-I was changing the vampire from a monster to a species that is simply part of our evolving world. 

I've kept their lore the same in the novel. Some people actually believe that vampires exist while most still think of them as fictional characters. This is why our host family, The Vamps - who reside mainly in their Beverly Hills mansion - have chosen to live out of the coffin so to speak and give the public what they are asking for. Heir Vamp, the eldest paternal member of the family says, "The best secrets are those kept hidden in plain sight." 

●Will there be murder? - Of course. 

●Will there be lying, cheating, and fights? - It will be your typical family-oriented reality show. 

●Will there be twinks, hunks, dumb blondes, plastic surgery junkies, tom-boy tweens, anorexic models, etc. etc.? - Every glamourous stereotype you can imagine is featured in and out of the family. You, as the reader, will be able to relate to one or more our beloved characters.

How Will Your Backing Be Used?

Your pledges and the success of this campaign will give a handful of freelance artists the work they've been waiting on. I will say I greatly respect artists of all kinds because I have discovered they do what they love and really love what they do. My finished novel will have so much heart put into it from many great people. 

So, since this is my first novel I am going to need another set of eyes to copyedit it. I can't stand spelling mistakes, even on Facebook, and I refuse for my novels to have any (hopefully). 

Once the editing is finished I will find the perfect artist to create a book cover and logo that does The Vamp family justice without going to vampire-bloody-gore. 

I'm self-publishing via Amazon . com. The majority of your $backing$ will go towards the ePub/kindle/mobi & paperback formatting and printing. I will also be copyrighting it & purchasing my own ISBN number so that my Haus of Vamp novels will be numbered together. 

If your donations exceed the $2,000 desired amount, more rewards will come. I will be able to advertise in local publications throughout NYC to increase demand. I would love eventually for Haus of Vamp to be an international best seller. And from that I would push for the production of my initial idea, Haus of Vamp as a television series. 

There truly is not a vampire novel on the market like Haus of Vamp. I've recreated vampire traits, modernized them, and really.. I made them human. They're rich. They're powerful in their industry. Most importantly, they are you and me. Love, hate, or envy them - we see ourselves.
