About this project
A few years back I published a novel called, “His Calling,” which I am very proud of. It is the story of three women - who come from different professions - that are called upon by God to do His will. We have Elizabeth who is very energetic and talkative. Then we have Anna who is a nurse that feels she must save people's lives and souls. Finally, we have Debbie who is a tough cop, ready to take a criminal down then trying to minister to him later. They are joined together by a man named Aaron who speaks to God. Aaron is a bit of an odd ball and very gentle. I like to say this story is like Charlie Angels meets Joan of Arcadia. God gives Aaron a name but not a clue to what has to be done. The girls have to figure out who this person is and what they have to do to save a man that the world has forgotten . . . but God hasn't.
We got a very talent cast put together and we are all very exited about this project. We have Mara Dratfield as the voice of Elizabeth, Julia Genoveva as the voice of Anna, Valeska Diaz as the voice of Debbie and Richard Cinque as the voice of Aaron.
What we are planning is to turn this into an animated web series that will have 6 episodes for the first season and will be about a 1/2 hour each. The first episode has been completed which took a long time because of old equipment and software. With using Kickstater we are hoping to speed up this process with the new technology that is currently out there. One of the things we are looking at is the latest version of iClone that works with the same technology used in the Kinect video game system. This software will allow our actors to act out their scenes physically while the computer transforms their movement into the animation software.

Jason J. Cross is an independent filmmaker and owns Four Sides of Cross Productions with his wife. He was born in 1973 in Long Island but was raised in Brooklyn where he still resides with his wife. They have completed many short films which have been seen in many different film festivals.
