Hi CineSkates Backers!!

Many of you have received your CineSkates, and we appreciate the great feedback! We have sent out all the Kickstarter orders through USPS Priority Mail. US backers should expect their packages within the next week, and international backers within the next two weeks. It has been quite an undertaking to get 2000 orders out the door, and we truly appreciate your patience! 

Using your CineSkates
There are some great videos and tips for using CineSkates in the User Group. Positioning CineSkates to get a perfect shot is an art, and it is great to know your tricks and your feedback. Here is a post on Setting up your CineSkates.

Video Contest
When you receive your CineSkates, we want you to use them! That is why we created the CineSkates Showdown Video Contest. Five winners will receive the next Cinetics Connect component and a GoPro HD HERO2 camera! We will begin posting videos on December 15th, and new entries will be accepted until the winners are selected on January 31st.

What's Next?
We have been taking pre-orders at store.cinetics.com, and we'll start shipping those out soon! We're also working as fast as we can to get CineSkates to retailers. Best of all, we have some really cool new gear in the works, and it is all based on your feedback!

Hi CineSkates Backers!

We are dedicated to getting your CineSkates to you quickly! We are now a seven person team, and we are moving faster than ever before. Your responsiveness and patience have enabled us to ship CineSkates at an awesome pace.

Progress!
We have sent out about 1200 sets of CineSkates. If you have not received yours, please know that we will get them to you as fast as possible. If we need any information from you to get your order out, we will send you an email. We are shipping out in large batches, so it is difficult to give arrival estimates for individual shipments. Surprise packages are more fun right? ;) We plan to have everything shipped out by November 18th.

It is a huge job to get all of the CineSkates built, but we have the best team in the world to do it. Our suppliers are also putting in the extra effort to get parts to us as quickly as possible. And, most importantly, you all have been amazing by responding quickly to our inquiries. Thank you! 

CineSkates Showdown
It was requested that we extend the CineSkates Showdown video contest, so we did. Now voting will begin on December 15th, and winners will be chosen on January 31st. We will continue to accept new entries throughout the entire contest. Here is the contest website: contest.cinetics.com. Also, submit your videos to the CineSkates Vimeo group: cineskates.cinetics.com.

Hi Everybody!

Your support has been incredible, and our team is putting in everything we have to get your orders out the door! We have shipped out about 800 sets of CineSkates so far, and we are working to speed up our production as fast as we can. You can expect your CineSkates within the next few weeks, and we can not tell you exactly when to expect them.

Shipping
We are shipping through USPS Priority Mail, both for US and international packages. We do have tracking numbers, but we can not email them to you. We decided to focus on shipping out CineSkates instead of emailing tracking numbers to each backer. We wish we could automate this process, but we simply don't have time to figure it out right now. We will look into this after we catch our breath.

What's next?
We are working out the details with our retail launch partners, and we are hard at work on new Cinetics Connect products that will be compatible with CineSkates.
