The brand, Don Marcos, is named after the family patriarch, which is committed to community betterment by employing more mothers that are head-of household and supporting reinvestment by helping children of farmers go to school. His organic coffee beans are certified Fair-Trade, Rainforest Alliance, BCS Oko Garantie, ECO-Cert, USDA Organic , and UTZ "Good Inside". The farm is also apart of the Kachalu Coffee Growers Association, a group of 14 families that are committed to producing a high quality coffee while preserving traceability and social responsibility.

We have to ship out about 1000-2000 boxes of Jiva which we can definitely handle. We have been talking to manufacturer (and showing him our Kickstarter page) so he has already started working on the boxes. Hopefully, there are no issues and you guys get them on time or maybe even earlier than expected!

Considering how many donors that have signed on to this offering, I'm concerned that your Jiva cubes supply isn't limitless ?! Are you going to have trouble filling these orders ?

Yes Nicholas they seem to be a really great company but you hit it right on the money. The bitterness is low, which is amazing for Colombian coffee that is known for that taste profile but will it be great for our customers drinking coffee cubes? We're not absolutely sure yet. Hopefully, we can get feedback on this coffee too when backers try it.

Well, judging by how the taste is described, you really could go either way with 'em. I mean the organization itself seems like a very responsible group but the coffee doesn't seem to offer enough bitterness imo.
