About this project
I create paraphernalia, apparatus, implements, material(s), regalia, appurtenances, impedimenta, clothing and accessories for the Modern Dandy. By combining vintage clothing and tailoring with modern techniques, I am creating a line of art-wear that is both familiar and fantastic. It is as interesting to study as it is to wear. Your support will help me launch this new endeavor and present my work in a gallery setting this Spring. Your support is much appreciated.

Connected as Jon Fulton Adams (1388 friends)
Garnering the attention and affection of the art and design community in Kansas City, Missouri, Jon Fulton Adams started his eponymous label in 2011 after discovering a need for well-crafted, well-styled menswear - a niche he felt obligated and challenged to fill with his unique style, knowledge, and design sensibilities.
Jon took another leap towards his goal of "aesthetic domination" when he was recently accepted to show at the Pool Tradeshow (a part of Magic) in February, 2012. It will be his clothing line's first major exposure outside of the midwest, and a great honour.
Surrounded by an amazing cadre of talented people in all fields of design, Jon and his team design and produce Jon Fulton Adams locally while marketing the label to specialty retailers nationwide.
Jon has worked as an artist, interior designer, writer, retail consultant, and visual merchandiser. His eyes and hands have created striking visual designs in a myriad of materials, spaces, and genres.
As a costume designer, Jon's inventive design work has graced many Midwestern stages, including productions in categories as varied as childrens theater, opera, rock concerts, and the classics. He has been recognized in Playbill Magazine for his work on several local productions, many of which were world premiers. Jon was recently appointed by the nationally-celebrated Unicorn Theatre as their Costumer-in Residence.
After receiving his training in Art History and Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, he returned to the midwest where he resides with his husband Ron Megee and their miniature Schnoodle, Dorian Gray.
