Dear backers of Wired For Love,
For those of you who have been waiting for an audio CD—
Last weekend we worked very very hard for hours in the wonderful studio of Audio For the Arts in Madison. We've got some great takes, and I have been working with recording engineer Mike Zirkel to put together a final cut that is the opera. I hope we will have a CD (or MP3) to share with you very soon!
The video/web portion of the opera will commence very soon as well. Stay tuned~

We have been hard at work in the Humanities Building and Music Hall for Wired For Love! Staging began yesterday, while costumes and the stage set are coming to life. We can't wait to share these work with you next week!
Even tickets are sold only at the door, you can now sign up in advance to guarantee a space. Visit http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0549A8A928A75-tickets and sign up if you need to purchase, and tell your friends!
If you want to volunteer for the show in some front-of-house activities (ticket sales, ushering, etc.), I'm still looking for a few helpers for each night. Please contact me via Kickstarter or email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
I have also created an e-newsletter, which you can sign up at http://eepurl.com/ipMvA to continue receiving news about the opera. There's the recording session, and eventually a multimedia online production. You don't want to miss out, do you?
Plus, check out our media coverage on Wisconsin State Journal last Sunday, and Isthmus today (in print only for now)!
Stay warm and safe driving on the road!
What a wild year! No matter where you are and what you've been up to, I wish you all a very happy holiday season, and a fruitful new year to come.
And lo and behold, the live premiere of Wired For Love is less than one month away! If you haven't done so yet, mark your calendar for January 20 (Friday) and 21 (Saturday), 8:00pm in Music Hall. Our cast is memorizing the music; our crew is busy building and sewing; and we just can't wait to share the show with you!
If you have chosen free admission for your Kickstarter gift, all you need to do is show up at the door and claim at the will call.
If you chose something else, but now decide to come see the show live, consider entering the ticket sweepstakes! You can register at http://wiredforlove.jerryhui.com/#shows. Fill out the form. 4 pairs of tickets will be given out for each show. Tell your friends too!
Together with the premiere, there are also some other interesting and exciting things to happen along with the show. I'll be posting updates here and on the opera's website, http://wiredforlove.jerryhui.com, as details are finalized.
Have a wonderful winter!
Dear backers of "Wired For Love",
You've done it! Thanks to each and every one of you, we have reached the goal to produce "Wired For Love" (and then some). Amazing!
We've already started working on it. The singers have already received their scores; I'm working diligently to finish a vocal score for rehearsals; a creative team is formed and we've already met in the exotic city of Milwaukee; our venue is secured, and our dates are set.
Join us on January 20th (Fri) or 21st (Sat) of 2012 in the evening at the UW Music Hall (below, and yes it'll be snowy) for the premiere performance! Soon after, we'll embark on the recording sessions, and hopefully get the CDs out to you by mid-March or April.
Check back often on this Kickstarter page, or on our official opera website http://wiredforlove.jerryhui.com for more updates!
