One square inch of land in Detroit for each dollar you inchvest! Starting as a ghost inch and materializing on land in the spring.
Pledge $12 or more Pledge $12 or more
12 square inches of land in Detroit plus a one square inch ghost deed (different than the season 1 golden deeds) with a magnifying glass will be mailed to you, *PLUS* you'll have the ability to say "I've got 12 inches in Detroit" with a straight face! Do not underestimate the value of this.
Pledge $25 or more Pledge $25 or more
The inches, the deed, and a Detroit Ice Potato starter kit. Seriously, a potato with googly eyes will be mailed to you. It would be awesome if you dressed it up, froze it in your freezer, and took pictures. We'll put them on http://detroiticepotato.com and into a DIP story.
Pledge $50 or more Pledge $50 or more
The inches, the deed, the Detroit Ice Potato, and your choice of either the "I'VE GOT INCHES IN DETROIT!" t-shirt or the Detroit Ice Potato t-shirt: http://crazycompany.spreadshirt.com

P.S. Tell your folks "It's Awesome!"!
Let's see some camera footage: a Monopoly board juxtiposed over an old crappy building that needs demo. C'mon, you guys need to keep it up or give up. What should I tell my folks?
How fun is this?!! And if, for any reason, Detroit becomes a beautiful park city, we "own" part of the comeback.
If nothing else, it brings my heart back to Detroit. I cruised Woodward in the 70's, saw Led Zepplin at Cobo & cried over the drummer, drool; walked 8 Mile skipping & scared as shit because we lost the car one night. Now in Arizona with a small plot of land (very small but bigger than 4" x 3"!).
This is a hopeful project, even if tongue-in-cheek, and I love that shit! But... MAKE IT REAL!
Remember, anyone who invests in this round of inches will not only get property in Detroit, but the money will go towards placing a camera on the property so you can see your new land. You can follow the progress of the camera build here: http://projectlemonbattery.com/
Thanks everyone who contributes to loveland!
