thanks, alexis! this is my full-time job and only income, so all the (currently very modest) earnings go into living and work on and things for the project. in the spring a physical grid will be installed on the property for all the inchvestors, along with some ways to see and interact with it online (in addition to in person). then we'll open up more properties with different development themes and activities. planting things is pretty much the #1 request, so definitely look out for that. :)
I live in a surrounding are of Detoit and I think that this is a greatidea if the earnings of the plot of land are going towards the land itself. The idea of a park is obvious, yet progressive. You could have each shareholder plant a tree or flower or contribute in some way as well.
