Hola inchvestors,
I'm headed to New York for a week to work from the Big Apple and celebrate a birthday near family. If you're in NY and want to meetup get in touch.
I've got a couple new posts on http://7billionfriends.com including the nice pairing of one about the company I started last coming out of stealth mode with a traditionally formatted realtime social web product, and another with thoughts on story, process, and abstraction in building things (which is the approach I'm taking this time with LOVELAND).
Stay tuned for updates. I'm on it,
Jerry
This project successfully raised its funding goal on September 19, 2009.
Everyone who inchvests at any level earns über elite Founding Forefather or Founding Foremother status -- your chance to feel like George Washington
The ability to keep a straight face while saying you've got 12 inches in Detroit -- do not underestimate the value of this
You'll get the first LOVELAND paper inch deed mailed to you. Perfect for framing, the refrigerator, or folding into an airplane and throwing at friends
You'll get an "I've Got Inches In Detroit" t-shirt (final design pending but it will be something like this one: http://bit.ly/1VyKMV)
Membership in The Nice Round Number Club
Membership in The Square Foot Club
Get an attractive and significant piece of LOVELAND history and art. For $288 you'll get 288 inches and one of the two 2' x 2' grids (576 square inches, twice 288) used to visually track inchvestors at the 2009 People's Art Festival at the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit. Read more about them and see pictures of them at http://bit.ly/fEeec. The photos used in this video all come from that event and some show the grids at various stages of completion (blue tape on white/brown board with colorful circular stickers).
Become the biggest inchvestor so far (yes, someone inchvested $1,000 for 1,000 inches in LOVELAND and is working on something really cool)

Hi--
I would be interested in chatting. I'm very happy to be a supporter of your project, but I am still not clear what that project is!
Best,
