Let's record great music that uplifts, strengthens and beautifies.
I want to share texture and passion that will penetrate the daily grind and bring us all to a place where the hills and the sky merge into the city spires - ever changing, yet imparting a sense of the Always.
I plan to use the bass and drum tracks that have already been recorded at my project studio by me, Chris Maresh and Art Kidd. Then layer soaring vocals, deeper hues of acoustic and electric guitars and a variety of wonderful sounds.
We are accomplishing this by collaborating with Texas' exceptional musicians and musical creators. I have chosen a 2nd studio to work in called the Boiler Room an Austin facility. You may have heard some of their works!
The funding I need will be used to complete the vocals and guitar tracks at that facility, as a prequel to final post production. I will also buy a video cam for YOUTUBE.
A fun fact: they have the NEVE mixing board that was used for the first Star Wars movie! Since my dad was a rocket scientist, that works well in my vision!!

I have been involved in the music business since 1971, but was writing original music prior to that. I have been in bluegrass, punk, gospel, psychedelic, folk, ska, Tex-rock and space-rock-gypsy bands for all this time. The common thread is original songwriting in each venture.
I live in Mason County Texas where I have been recording many others at my recording resort for the last 15 years; I have also founded and operate Texas Songwriters in the Round, an original music project benefiting the community and artists.
In March 2011, myself, Chris Maresh and Art Kidd began the process of recording my first solo CD of all original music. We have been going under the name, Enchanted Rock, but I write and manage the songs & production. We are working with the Boiler Room Studio in
Austin Texas, affording me the opportunity of using their great facility and world class production.
The CD is entitled. "Prodigal Daughter" inspired by my sister, Judith. It will have 10 songs when completed.
I was also a finalist in the Stage Baron's songwriters contest in Bullard, Tx! I have been writing and performing for many years and look forward to this new adventure. Check the San Angelo link for a recent article about my music!
