Thank you. Grazie, gracias, merci! With your help, the Kickstarter was a success, and the Home EP is fully funded!
In the coming weeks I'll be getting the record ready for a release, hopefully by the end of August.
Mix CDs and other backer rewards will be shipped along with the EP when it is released. For those of you who ordered canvas bags, mp3s, and artwork, I'll be sending an e-mail through Kickstarter sometime soon asking you to specify details of your order.. there will be a couple different options for canvas bag design in addition to the ADD diagram displayed in the photo.

Embroidering is going OK.
I posted a video on YouTube this week, shot by my friend Sam Gezari in the mountains last summer. I'm singing in a tunnel while cars and motorcycles pass by. In hindsight, this was pretty dangerous. Nobody forward this link to my mom. thx

wow - lovely and haunting, and the cars going by give it a lynchian quality = dont try this at home (and dont tell sam's mom either - after all, he is looking through the camera and not at cars about to clip him!).

Dear friends,
Thank you so much for backing this project. I am proud to say we're already 34% funded in 10 days- and it's still May! Over a month to go.
I've actually learned a few things in this process (in addition to ever-growing faith and patience):
1) How to use iMovie (Have you seen the video? I added it a few days in because it took me that long to come up with an alternative to stuttering into the camera)
2) Myspace is now officially solely for musicians and creeps to add and spam each other
3) My friends and fans are amazing. -I already knew that though. Seriously, thank you.
This week I dropped 4 songs off for mixing, and began working on the album art. I'm trying to embroider it. I've never embroidered anything in my life but I've always wanted to and figured it was pretty self-explanatory. Well it's hard. I probably have to start over.. but mostly just for layout- apparently you can't just click and drag a bunch of stitching.
Thank you also for spreading the word and getting others to participate in this project. - I'm finally going to put some music out and you are all making it possible.
