Hello Dear Friends,

After several months hiatus (due to various gigs/jobs/responsibilities in the lives of the Burnside ladies) we are back-in-action.

Lots of things are changing with the Burnside script and production goals, but in a very wonderful and exciting way.  We are quite happy with how things are shaping up.  Although we are behind the original schedule we were hoping for, the delay is only making the project better (and us smarter).

Thank you for your patience, your support, and your love.  As was stated earlier, production updates will primarily be posted for Backers Only, but the blog is a great way to follow our thoughts and inspiration.  There are several posts up as of now, and we should get on a regular cycle soon.  And the more support we get on the blog, the more we will be inclined to post!  It's truly a great way to converge our thoughts and stay true to the mission of the show.  We definitely urge you to make a Tumblr account if you don't already have one, so that you can start commenting and join the conversation.

Additionally, our backers of $200 or more are eligible to guest blog!  If interested in writing a guest post, please contact us at BurnsideTV@gmail.com.  Preferably something somewhat in the vein of the show, the entertainment industry, gender roles, twenty-somethings...  We could go on and on.  Really a very broad range of related topics you can write about, and we are happy to discuss!  Yay for blogging!

You are all amazing.  Thank you again for your continued enthusiasm with BURNSIDE.  Every time we hear you ask, "How is that Burnside project coming?" we are encouraged to keep the fire going.

Dear Backers and Friends,

Want to update you with our progress!  

BURNSIDE's aspirations are growing bigger and better.  We are currently revising the script, making the story and the characters even stronger.  In the past few months, we attached a talented and successful young director, and we are in the process of securing outside funding to match our Kickstarter donations.  The show has gone to the next level, and we want to make sure we do it right.  With the advancement of the project, we are pushing back the timeline to perfect the pilot script and make sure everything is in place.  

Our blog, and eventually our website, will be launched soon.  But, in the meantime, rest assured that we are going strong and fabulous things are in motion.

From here on out, updates on production will be posted for "Backers Only."  All other friends and supporters, thank you so much for helping to spread the word and please look for our blog link soon!

Thank you for making this happen! We are so touched by your generosity. Now that we have reached our goal, we are diving into pre-production. We would also LOVE to surpass our pledge goal. Our budget for this production is a minimum of $5,000. But even with $5K, we will be cutting a lot of corners. We created this Kickstarter in hopes that we could raise enough money to help us along the way. And with your help, we are almost at our goal. However, the more money we raise, the fewer sacrifices we will have to make in all aspects of production.

More funding means:
Higher quality equipment, more/better filming locations, healthier food for cast/crew (extremely important), and the means to launch a fabulous website and start a hype about BURNSIDE!
