Jeffrey Shagawat (aka Bill Shag) is an award-winning photographer whose images are shot on film using vintage cameras with non-traditional processing and custom printing.
His work has been displayed in galleries across the U.S. and abroad including AnnaKustera in Chelsea; the Scott Eder Gallery in DUMBO; Produce in Phoenix; Dream Space Gallery in London; Diskaire in Lille; and Unitard, 72 degrees & Sunny, and Melt Down in Los Angeles. He was also part of the Hello Living Art Walk curated by Beast Social and Eat Your Art Out III & IV .
Recently, Jeffrey showed at the Salmagundi Club in the West Village. He was awarded the Alphaeus P.Cole award. He had previously been given a "Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Work" and was acclaimed by the president of the prestigious establishment as "being the oldest soul and the youngest member."
Jeffrey currently resides in Lower Manhattan where he continues to make friends and enemies through photography.
