About this project
It started with a crazy dream...and continues with a really, really crazy dream.
There was a saying when I was younger - “Be nice to geeks, you’ll probably be working for one someday.” There was an idea, especially in the earlier days of home computers, that smart people who loved to think about things, loved imagination - science fiction, fantasy, roleplaying games, comic books - loved technology and computers - would someday be the bosses, the ones running things.
And we geeks and nerds have a great deep secret to which other people still haven’t caught on: We have WAY more fun than pretty much all the people who’ve ever made fun of us, or looked down on us for being geeks. They have no idea what they’re missing.
Enter the Geeky Kink Event.
We didn’t create the Geeky Kink Event to show the world that Geeks could have incredible kinky fun which is so creative, amazing, and spectacular that it boggle the neocortex. Though it’s not a bad side effect. We created this event so that geeks like us could get together and, in some ways, redefine what a kink event can do, be, and become.
What we need is one last burst of assistance. What we need is just a little help with the final pieces of the event - creating just a little more space for the people who are attending, making just a little more liquid-nitrogen absinthe ice cream, having just a few more presenters and doing just a little more for the ones that we have.
For a small contribution, you can not only make geek history, but be a part of geek history. Through decades of geeks being pioneers in realms of exploration, open-mindedness, alternative ideas of sex or relationships or just the boundaries of human achievement - there’s never been a huge full-scale geeky kink event before. We are the first, and we want you to have a piece of it! For a small contribution - whether or not you’re going to the event - you can build an entire new branch of the geek universe.
