Thanks so much for visiting our project. I'm Jeffery Kamminga, owner and chief operating farmer at Baby Greens Farm.

We are a small, sustainable year-round farm specializing in salad greens, herbs, tomatoes, garlic and micro-greens. We sell our produce to a dozen high-end restaurants in Rhode Island, to Farm Fresh RI Mobile Market, at local farmers markets and via our own home-delivery subscription service with about 150 members.

Last year, after many years of tenant farming, we bought 50 acres of raw land in beautiful North Kingstown, RI and moved to our permanent home. After months of clearing brush, moving stumps and burying boulders, the first of four new passive solar greenhouses is complete and ready for planting.

Your contributions will let us put up the second new greenhouse. We need to level the ground, bring in gravel for the floor and put all of the pieces together.  When this project is completed, our production will double compared to our old farmsite, so we can provide more fresh local food to more loyal customers.

If we are fortunate enough to exceed our goal, all funds will go towards putting up the third greenhouse, and maybe even the fourth and final......
