The Bamboo has been ordered!
I know it's been a while, but the good news is, we're moving forward! The t-shirts & postcards will be printing next week & the organic oils are on their way as well! I'm hoping to have the $5-$30 backer rewards shipped by the end of next week.
As for the Sky Scratchers themselves, the bamboo base & center posts were ordered yesterday & their schedule opened up today to start cutting the center posts! Due to the success of this project we were able to increase or original order from 50, to 75 units. This way will we have more units for immediate shipping once the first round has been shipped to you fine supporters. On Monday, the cardboard will be ordered & if all goes as planned, we will have all the raw materials [& a production facility for assembly] ready to go by the middle of February!
We are also pleased to announce we will be working with a local cardboard company to source the needed 'floors' for The Sky Scratcher! With their help, they were able to come pretty close to the price we were going to pay for cardboard manufactured in California. The relationship I have had with this company at my current employer & exceptional service they provide well outweighed the pricing difference.
We're very excited for the next few weeks & to fulfill our promise to you, our supporters. I will keep you posted as we move forward to completion of the backer rewards.
