I'm a filmmaker, photographer, and blogger living in Miami Beach, FL. I'm currently directing my first feature length documentary, Bots High, which follows multiple high school robotics teams build fighting robots to compete in the National BattleBots Championship.
I've produced and shot videos for PBS and government agencies.
I'm the editor of the film blog Coffee and Celluloid (http://www.coffeeandcelluloid.com) which writes about independent film and filmmaking.
I can't say for sure but I'm extremely interested in alternative distribution models. I can say that a lot of the stuff that doesn't make it into the film, but is still interesting and useful, will be made freely available online, sort of as an extension of the documentary and mini-documentaries unto themselves.
Will the film be licensed in a way such that it can be freely copied and shared with others? Perhaps a Creative Commons license.
