About:
We all have songs that bring back memories... the song that you had stuck in your head for a week straight in high school, that one jam that was cool in the 90's but would never spin in today's clubs, that song that would pump you up for basketball games... and then there are the songs that remind you of past loves.

Arthur (70 years-old) remembers his first true love, Marie, through an old vinyl record that he treasures, and when it plays... he feels like he's back in college walking through the campus quad with her.

However, the constant play on the record table has taken its toll on the record... and it begins to scratch and eventually crack.

As the record falls apart, so does his idea of his first true love... the locations, time, clothing, people change... What once helped him hold on to his past is slowly robbing him of it.

Inspiration:
As a kid in Chicago, I knew I wanted to become a filmmaker in my freshman year in high school. My first way of coming up with concepts for films was listening to music and coming up with ideas depending on whatever track was playing. I would use these tracks to help remind me of ideas. As I began to develop my ideas, I noticed that songs would also remind me of moments in my own life, songs that reminded of my childhood, school days, girls I used to like, and those random songs that would stuck in my head.

As time passed and all my ideas accumulated, the fear of losing some ideas started to enter my mind. What if I lost some tracks? Or couldn't find them anymore? Would those ideas disappear forever? Playing around with the idea of losing a memory or idea is what lead me to write this script.

What your money will go to:
Your much appreciated funds will be used towards costumes (we're going for a 50's or 60's look for Arthur's flashbacks), production costs (catering, location permits, extra materials), and the score. The musical score for this project is extremely important, so we're hiring a composer to write the soundtrack and bringing in musicians to come an record it. We want to have a soundtrack that will take you to Arthur's past and relive his past.
