About this project
This film is an edgy and gritty movie that follows the lead character, Than, as he makes his way through a zombie infested town. I want this movie to be a lot of fun and action packed. It's a huge production so I'll need a lot of help to complete it. My goal is to film this movie in stereoscopic 3D in order to really give an audience the sense of engagement with the movie. If successfully filmed in 3D, this will be the first student film done in 3D through SCAD, to my knowledge.
100% of the money raised will be going directly to the film. This includes but is not limited to:
-Makeup
-Armorer
-Permits
-Set/Location Design
-Special FX
-Costumes
-Props
-Catering
-Special Stereoscopic 3D Equipment/Personnel
I currently have about $6,000 of my own money that I'm investing into this film but I need a lot more for this to be a truly amazing work. I'm setting the goal at $5,000 but anything over and above that amount will still be used to make this movie the most amazing thing possible. I have access to an exclusive horror icon actor but he's not cheap! I'll need him for a full day and his charge is $5,000/day. I also have worked out an arrangement with Toby Sells, a premiere FX artist based out of Atlanta. If I can get an additional $6,000 (on top of everything else) I can afford his amazing work on this film as well. Please don't hesitate! Help out in this historic film!

Since childhood Jay Reiter has been fascinated with film and music. Coming from an artistic background, Jay quickly decided he’d try his hand in the music industry. He’s been playing guitar since the age of 14 and started his first major band in 1998, S. F. Incorporated. S. F. allowed him the creative freedom to express himself without restrictions or regrets. After about a decade of touring, recording, managing, and promoting S. F. Incorporated Jay decided to move onto film as a means of creatively expressing himself. Jay’s major film passions are horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and just about any sort of comedy and action. His favorite films range from the Star Wars saga to the Evil Dead trilogy and beyond. Using his vast knowledge and experience as a musician Jay is able to direct and edit his films with a keen sense of timing and pacing plus his over-active imagination gives him a unique perspective in being a film creator. Right now Jay Reiter is a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design in historic Savannah, Georgia and working towards his BFA in Film and Television with a minor in Sequential Art.
