The Legacy Show is a special show for college bound high school grads and alumni of the School of Rock in Farmingdale, New York. This show is the first of its kind for School of Rock, and we want to make it something special and start an annual tradition. We've all been attending this school for several years, and in that time we have participated in countless shows that have helped us grow as musicians as well as people. It is now our turn to give back to the musical community. It is our time to leave our legacy. This will be our last show together, and we intend to have it make a bigger impact than any regular school of rock show ever has. 

Our Performance Legacy: We intend to curate and perform a unique concert on August 18th at Brooklyn Bowl, a venue that is much larger and more professional than anywhere we have ever played before. 

Our Video Legacy: We have been filming rehearsals and the process of bringing this show to fruition. We would like to film the performance and create a documentary about the process of creating and performing The Legacy Show - and what it means to leave a legacy. 

Our Audio Legacy: We hope to book as much studio time as possible to record songs from our show. In addition to giving us the experience of working in a professional recording studio, we would also be able to capture this moment in our musical lives. In a more functional sense, we would use the recorded material for the documentary soundtrack. 

Our Physical Legacy: We intend to build a physical art object that represents our collective and individual experiences and personalities. We want to install this piece of artwork in our school to help inspire future generations.

In order to accomplish some, or hopefully, all of our legacies - we need your help. There are costs involved with the rental of the venue, recording studios, video equipment, and art supplies - much more than what we're asking. We can only make a legacy as big as the kickstart we get. With your kind contribution, we can get our dreams closer to a reality; even if we just meet our goal, we will be able to truly leave a legacy that will inspire generations of music students to come.
