What is Jaura Games?

Jaura Games is a brand new software development studio founded by Jb Jaura. Jb is a computer science/pre-medical student whose focus is less on the mindless killing of pigs and more on the health of the gamer. The company was started in February 2012 and the first game in its development is Body Buddy, a game for iOS devices. The art and foundation of the game have been completed but more funding is needed to get the game coded and available to the masses.

Why Body Buddy?

Body Buddy is a concept developed over years of health related coursework and a life time of gaming. As a computer science student, Jb quickly became interested in producing games but it was his medical background that instilled the idea of making games that were not only good but good for you.

What is Body Buddy?

Body Buddy is a platformer which draws its inspiration from classic games like the Super Mario franchise, Worms, and Rayman. The game will take gamers on missions in different organs of the digestive tract destroying the evil Crime Syndicate which now inhabits them. The Crime Syndicate is comprised of the ever so greasy Patty McCheese and Frenchy McFry as well as the bubbly Burpy McFizz, lackies of dastardly Burger Queen. These baddies were created to show the harmful effects that fast food has to the body in a fun and engaging way. The player will also have overcome obstacles such as bacteria, viruses, and even the body's own gastric juices. This game will be the backbone for future Body Buddy releases which will take the player on new adventures such as the removal of cigarette and tar monsters from the lungs or the sticky cholesterol globs in the heart and blood vessels. 

Further Funding

Any funding beyond the initial $4000 will be used to put this game on other devices including Android Phones, Windows Phones, Kindle Fires, Nook Colors, and even on the web on sites like Facebook.

Additional funding will also be used to expand the single game into a series of games which we hope to accomplish whether additional funding is available to us or not.
