About this project
Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my Kickstarter page! I'm here trying to raise the last remaining funds for my 7 Song Acoustic EP. This CD could possible do exactly what this website says, and kickstart my career as an artist and a writer!
I am so close to finishing that project that I started writing for over 5 years ago, and began working on in the studio this past October. This CD will culminate years of writing, and share some of the hurts, dreams, and joys I've had over the last few years of my life. With the $3500 I'm trying to raise, I'll be able to pay for:
the remainder of studio time (2 more 10 hour days)
1000 copies of the finished CD
iTunes and Other Online Distribution
T-shirts
Buttons
Stickers
Posters
Release Party
I've got prices from all the companies that I"m working with and $3500 is just enough to cover those expenses! I'm very excited about this CD and what it could mean for me in my career and as an artist! Thank you again for all your support!

Hey everyone! I'm Jason Knight and I'm a 24 year old singer/songwriter from Mount Airy Maryland. I grew up around music and from watching my dad and other family members perform and lead worship in churches, a desire and passion for music started to grow. When I was thirteen I picked up the guitar and began writing songs, and since then I have grown into the artist that I am today. Each song I write tells a story of my life, or things I have seen in others lives around me. As I continue to grow as a songwriter and performer I look forward to sharing each moment with each of you.
