We still have three weeks. Any additional funds will go to help cover Kickstarter and Amazon's fees (8%), as well as contribute to getting the film printed and into festivals. Thank you so much again.
This film was shot over 4 days in early march with a dedicated and unpaid cast and crew on 16mm. We edited for four months and are now finally picture locked!
Right now we are looking for funds to get us through post-production and out to festivals.
Your donations will go to a number of talented artists ready to give the film the best possible picture and sound. The wonderful people include the foley artist, colorist, composer, musicians, and graphic artists.
This money will go to materials and labor for them, including:
VIDEO: Color Correction, HD Conversion, Titles,
SOUND: Design, Foley, Mixing and Mastering,
MUSIC: Composer and Instruments
DVD: Creation and Artwork
MARKETING: Materials, Postcards, Wesbsite

I was born in East Lansing, Michigan, where I got my bachelor’s degree in creative writing before I moved to Germany on a Fulbright Scholarship. Afterwards I moved to Berlin, where I worked for a variety of production companies.
In 2009 I moved to Los Angeles to start UCLA’s MFA Directing program. My first year film "A Son Like You," completed with funds raised on kickstarter, had its premiere at the 2012 Florida Film Festival and was recently selected at the 2012 Cinemajove film festival in Spain.
I am currently completing my thesis film "the Slaughter," filmed entirely on location in Lansing, Michigan. For next year I have been awarded a DAAD Artist Study Scholarship to return to Berlin to develop a feature with an Oscar-nominated German filmmaker.
